The University of Malaga is a young University in comparison with the other Universities in Spain. It was formed in the 1960’s and comprises today of two faculties: the Faculty of Economic Science and Business and the recently added Faculty of Medicine.
The Spanish Language courses offered at the University are prepared by the department called ¨Cursos de Español para Extranjeros¨. Both long and short-term course are offered, as well as summer courses, individual courses, DELE preparation courses and other courses. Intensive Spanish Language Course
This course is offered throughout the year and starts every beginning of the month. The first two hours students will learn Spanish language, followed by two hours of conversation and one hour of listening and reading comprehension.

Course of Hispanic Studies
This Spanish language program is a semester course starting in the beginning of October and February. Students can either choose to sign up for one or two semesters when starting in October or for one semester if starting in February.

The Spanish language - summer program are monthly Spanish courses arranged during the months of June, July, August and September. Students can sign up for one or several months as the courses are arranged independently.
